  • Work With The Shape: Look at the main container’s shape while you’re designing your point of purchase displays. Unlike banners and posters, these P.O.P.’s are usually a bit on the 3D side. Wraps, for example, would have to look good from all angles. Make sure that the brand is emphasized in the main or front of the object you’re wrapping, but don’t overlook the design aspects of the sides of the refrigerator, for example.
  • Practicality: Wraps for containers are very practical because you only have to spend a minimal amount on paint transfers. You’ll also get to keep your products where they’re supposed to be. If you’re on a budget, container point of purchase displays are definitely the way to go.
  • Think Long Term: Unless you have the capital to back it up, try not to incorporate promos in your point of purchase container wraps. This rule applies to refrigerator wraps, especially, because you’d want to have elements in the design that would represent your product or brand for a longer time. Promos only last for a month or two. If you’re placing a carton P.O.P. though which you can dispose of once the products are sold, you can go ahead and apply elements or messages pertaining to the special promo.
