Celebrities have a reputation for having a flashy lifestyle, buying expensive clothes, owning luxurious houses, and living a stylish lifestyle. For some celebrities, they take advantage of the massive paychecks to indulge in their love of cars. There are many famous celebrity car enthusiasts, but these 10 have seem to go above and beyond with their love for automobiles.

Jay Leno

Jay Leno, comedian and former Tonight Show host, is well known for loving — and collecting — cars. He has a hangar full of cars, so naming just one of his rides would be tough. His collection features a range of cars, from classic to modern super luxury cars, that totals 190 vehicles. His collection is so famous that it even has its own website.

Jerry Seinfeld

Jerry Seinfeld, another comedian who is best known for his sitcom, is another lover of cars. He reportedly has a whole fleet of Porsche 911s, with some rumors saying he owns almost 50 total Porsches. In the 1990s, he also had a hangar for storing his cars.

50 Cent

Rapper 50 Cent is another car enthusiast, especially high end luxury sports cars. He reportedly has a customized Lamborghini Murcielago, a Ferrari F50 and a Pontiac G8, among other vehicles.

Simon Cowell

The former American Idol and present X Factor judge also owns several high-end automobiles, including a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, a Bentley Azure, Bugatti Veyron and Rolls Royce Phantom, among other cars.

Nicholas Cage

The actor Nicholas Cage did not just star in a movie about car enthusiasts (Gone in 60 Seconds), but he is one himself. He owns a Ferrari Enzo, among other cars. He is also another celebrity with a whole hangar dedicated to his collection, which holds up to 50 of his vehicles.

Rowan Atkinson

The British comedian import best known for his role as Mr. Bean, Rowan Atkinson is also a dedicated car collector. He began his collection back in 1981 with an Aston Martin V8 and now owns many classic cars. He reportedly owns a Bentley Mulsanne, MG X-Power SV, Jaguar XKE, Aston Martin DB7, rare McLaren F1 supercar, and a green Ferrari 456 GT, among others.

Dax Shepard

The Parenthood actor and husband of Kristen Bell is another car enthusiast. He wrote, directed, produced and starred in the recent movie Hit and Run, inspired by his own love of cars, which began when he worked for General Motors. He and Bell race cars around the world, and the movie actually used many of the cars from his private collection, including a Lincoln Continental hot rod and off-road race car.

Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsey, well know for his role as “McSteamy” on Grey’s Anatomy, also loves cars. One of his prize possessions is a Jaguar XK120, which was made in the late 1940s and 1950s and was the first automobile to go faster than 125 miles.

Tim Allen

The comedian and Home Improvement star was born in the Motor City, which may have influenced his passion for cars. However, he doesn’t just collect cars; he also builds them. During his heyday on Home Improvement, he built two custom hot rods, a 1933 Ford Roadster and 1946 Ford Convertible.

Rupert Grint

Rupert Grint, most famously known as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, is another famous lover of vehicles, although his collection includes more unique and unusual vehicles instead of classic vehicles or luxury and high end sports cars. He has bought an ice cream van, a hovercraft, and an orange Range Rover.

These celebrities love cars, and are able to afford such an expensive hobby. These 10 are not alone in the celebrity world for indulging in buying classic, rare, and unique cars; however, they have some of the largest, or most notable, collections of vehicles.
